Mobile Phone Recycling

Mobile Phones Wanted Dead or Alive

Did You Know? Just 4% of mobile phones are recycled in the UK ??

In plain terms millions of old, broken unwanted and unloved mobile phones are laying in cupboards and drawers gathering dust across the UK.

Such a waste when they CAN be put to good use !!!!

This is an appeal with a difference. A unique offer from Mercedes UK and Dixons. Will convert mobile phones into new vehicles. Just 2000 phones = One new Mercedes Sprinter Van which help us too help Children and Schools across Eastern European countries. Imagine children lacking shoes and clothing whilst temperatures plummet to -20C. This is how it is for many. We need your help to change these situations. Phones for Vans will enable us to transport resources and volunteers to places of need.

Remember Chernobyl, the legacy lives on but even basic resources for schools and children remain scarce.2000 mobile phones or the equivalent of £30,000 are needed for the next modified vehicle.

Dead or Alive we can use it, Chargers, headsets, send them in….

Our thanks go to ScottishPower, NHS Nurses Direct, NEC Computers Ltd, Dobcroft Junior School - Sheffield, Hailsham Community College, Sussex Police authority, Stafford and Lewes Prison's, Hampshire Ambulance Service, Westminster Chapel, Hastings Fire services for collecting phones. We need more…
