Fair Trade Arts & Crafts

Tomi NdbeleSince 1994 Computers for Charities has provided advice and field support to 104 countries Worldwide. Our ethos is very much based on building relationships not just with schools but also the wider community and seeking to aid them view the bigger picture.

It is whilst staying in such communities, often very remote regions, that we encounter varying need and exceptional skill including talented Artists and Craft workers.

This site seeks to provide a link to enable such people to continue and develop there skills by providing an outlet for their materials. The talent and gifting speaks for itself, though few will be aware of the extreme conditions many of these people live and work in...

Itai Vangani1In supporting these people, you not only gain a truly individual piece of work. You are also enabling the sustainability of a gift and skill...

Tomi Dbele (above) and Itai Vangani are examples. Itai working in Oils and Tomi in Pastels live in Zimbabwe and attended the Mzilikazi Art Centre in Bulawayo. Continuing economic meltdown in the country provide very few outlets or income for artists at this time.
